No fun lovin' criminal

The bike was bought brand new, and looked impressive. After 10 months it was gone, placed in part exchange against an 18 month old R1200GS. Why, what was wrong with it? Well nothing! I covered just under 5000 miles in 10 months. It was reasonably quick (the other side of 130), it handled OK and it stopped. Build quality was first rate, it was ultra reliable and it looked the business.

The problem was...It wasn't involving, it was unrewarding to ride, it had no soul (cliché). Although it had a powerful engine with loads of torque, the wind blast made high speed riding unsustainable. I'm glad I owned it, but it was just another Japanese multi. And boy did it depreciate when I came to get shut (36%).
